Commission Details

Prices and Returns:

$15 per 1,000 words standard rate, or 1.5¢ per word.

I use PayPal. I don’t have any other means of accepting payment.

Editing during the drafting stages costs no extra.

Should the final draft be agreed upon, but a large edit would like to be made, there will be a $10 fee incurred. Unless the edit is grammatical or syntax-related. That is on me, and I do not charge for those edits after the project is finalized.

The outline process does not cost anything. This is the stage where the client and I brainstorm together. These discussions will provide details for what the story will be about, what kind of characters will be in it, what the setting is and so on. The outline will be sent to the client upon completion so it can be assessed and tweaked as necessary.

Before writing begins, I do require half of the payment be sent as a held fee. This protects my time and work.

There is a diminishing rate for returns if the client would like to cancel the commission. Please note this is non-negotiable, and the initial draft is what’s counted. The outline does not factor towards the completion rate.

  • 0%-25% finished = 100% refund

  • 26%-50% finished = 75% refund

  • 51%-75% finished = 50% refund

  • 76%-100% finished = 25% refund

If a client chooses to cancel a commission, the story will be scrapped and not posted. I will not send what was completed up to the cancellation.

After the final draft is approved, the last half of the payment will be requested. Once received, the client can accept the completed story through either email, Discord, or another method they request.

I’m not one to haggle. I feel my prices are fair where they are.

If something comes up and the client can’t make the last payment by the time the piece is finished, I’ll happily hold on to the work until things get sorted out. We’re all human, I understand stuff comes up. I won’t be a jerk over life cropping up. Make the payment when able and I’ll get the final draft sent out when I receive the final payment. There are no fees for holding on to writing. Period.

Rules:

I only accept commissions from clients who are 18 years or older. This applies to both SFW and NSFW content. It’s just a safe practice.

I ask that I be permitted to post the story to my respective pages—Furaffinity and DeviantART accounts for the moment—with credit going to the owners of the characters, setting/s and other intellectual property. I clearly label commissions and link back to the appropriate pages on all commission work I do. If the client isn’t comfortable with me posting the story on my pages, it can be discussed.

Please be polite, it makes the process so much easier for both parties. I hold myself to this same standard as well. I will remain respectful and professional throughout the process. If the client cannot be respectful, I won’t take the commission.

What I consider disrespectful:

  • Cursing or swearing at me. (Note, if the client cusses a bit here and there as part of general, friendly dialogue, don’t sweat it. We’re adults, I’m fine with it.)

  • Getting upset if I am not available at a certain time. I have a very weird schedule right now, and I understand it can be wonky. I always ensure to make openings for discussions. These blocks of time will be catered toward what works best for the client. I don’t ask anyone to tailor a time that works best for me.

  • Not respecting boundaries. I keep my writing life separate from my work life. I don’t hand out socials that aren’t connected to my writing. I don’t do facebook or anything. The internet is a big place and I never know who I’m dealing with. I have Discord and my DA and FA profiles that I can be reached on.

  • Disregarding the list of hard limits. I have a list of kinks/fetishes/topics I will not touch or discuss. I’m not here to kink shame. I only ask that the client respects my limits. Please do not talk about adding in fetishes I have listed as hard limits, and do not bring them up in discussion. If I ask the client to stop, it means there is a line being crossed.

I don’t do voice calls. My DMs are always open, and I will get back to you when I am available. I don’t mind if a client sends a message and I’m away. Message me when you need to, and I will reach out when I get it.

I don’t do roleplay, sorry. I’ll happily talk about the story and what’s wanted in it, but acting out scenes is out of my comfort zone.

What I Won’t Write (Including but Definitely not Limited to):

Not sure if DeviantART will allow me to list this, so please message me and I can get the list for you.

What I Will Write:

Not sure if DeviantART will allow me to list this, so please message me and I can get the list for you.

Interested in snagging a commission from me? Send me a note through either my Furaffinity or DeviantART profiles and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. My profiles are listed below:

Furaffinity: NyraWrites

DeviantART: Sasha-Briarwood

I can provide my Discord information for easier communication after the note. Thank you, and I hope to help get your story written.

Howdy everyone,

It's been a hot minute since I've touched DeviantART. I hope you all are doing well and holding up. I know things have been kind of hectic since 2019, but hey what can you do? Just keep on keeping on; that's about it, right?

I'm going to give everyone a brief update on where I've been, outstanding projects, plans for the future and what's in store for my page here. If you're looking for a Tl;Dr, it'll be included at the end. So let's get to it.

For three years I worked at a local hospital. I'm no nurse or doctor, I was just someone who cleaned and disinfected operating rooms after surgeries were performed. I worked there through the Covid pandemic. It was not a good place to be, though not only because of Covid. The job itself was exhausting from the overtime, lack of staffing, management was drowning, and as things got harder the higher-ups were demanding more and more from us. I'd lost all time to myself, and my drive for writing died. I kept practicing on the side, but nothing I'd post. Hope for me dried up in that position. I didn't have anything positive going for me, and I turned to drinking in my off-hours. Everything went downhill from there. Then I met my (now) fiance.

I quit the hospital and turned to writing professionally. I'm in the process of getting set up to freelance for blogs, product descriptions, website blurbs and other such content. I'm currently writing two separate novels when I find the time. This isn't me announcing a release or anything, they're both far from finished. One of them happens to be the start of a series my Fiance and I are both working on. In time I look forward to teasing some bits across my various profiles on the net. Those of you who have been reading some of my old short story series here are probably rolling your eyes at this. Do not worry, I have not forgotten my obligations. Best I elaborate on those outstanding projects then, yeah?

Walking on Eggshells was a passion project I started writing while I was attending college. And because of college (and work) it got sidelined. Hard. I made a promise a while back to resume it when I found the time, and I meant it. WoE isn't gone, it isn't going to remain in limbo forever and I will be seeing it through to conclusion. I don't know when I'll open that half-finished first draft of part 4, but it's going to happen. Possibly as soon as I get in a better financial spot so I can dedicate time to writing it. I found my old notes, I drafted out the plot so I know where the story was meant to go--it'll happen. Like I said, I just need to get in a better spot financially first. To do that, I have a plan in motion.

Going forwards I'm going to be writing freelance, so my personal profiles across the web are going to be kept separate from the "professional" pieces I'll be doing for clients here on out. I'm not sure how long it will take to get good traction in the freelance sphere, but I do know it will be a while before I'm getting backed up on that front. I can't secure myself by releasing free stories every two weeks, sadly. So my personal projects will still be a second priority. Not that it changes anything since I haven't posted in so danged long. Don't worry too much. Since I've turned to writing to make ends meet, I'll be working on projects. For clients and for my profiles again. I'm hoping to wrap up WoE for everyone and move on to other tales to provide entertainment.

My goal is to keep posting free stories. Adult life comes with adult-sized bills though, so I need to keep ahead of them. We're not in dire straits or anything, but we're sitting on a lot of financial stress. Hence why I'm not dedicating all of my time to writing my novels. We got to eat somehow, and that's the freelance work saving my butt.

To supplement our income, I'm offering something I haven't had available in several years now. I figure I can offer a way to provide support to those who want to help out. No Patreon or anything like that, no. For the foreseeable future of this profile, I'm going to be offering writing commissions again. I figure it's the best way to allow readers to have access to stories I write in my free time while providing additional income to keep me afloat between gigs. Heh. Gigs. I don't know why that word is so funny to me.

Reading is just as important to me as writing. I want to keep people reading and I figure there isn't a better way to do that than posting free content. I'm not going to lock WoE behind a paywall. There may be future stories that come available to members if I do open a Patreon in the future, but there will always be free content posted on my profile. If that should happen the future of this profile will be a mix of free and paid content. None of the paid content, however, will contain storylines crucial to the free stories. I don't operate like that. Never have, never will. Free is free, dang it, and partially-complete tales--which only become whole when paying for another piece--don't fit my definition of free.

The bulk of the free content may be long-running series for readers to enjoy. There will be one-offs as well. If I do end up making a Patreon (can you tell I'm future-proofing this?) the paid stories will be posted there. I may upload teasers for paid stuff to link back to my Patreon, but unless I make up my mind and create a Patreon then I won't know for sure.

I plan on updating everyone as I go. Transparency is something I hold dear, and I will remain transparent in all of my decisions. At this time, if you'd like to support me, commissions are open. Send me a DM and we can work out the details. I will be posting a Terms of Service soon, along with a pricing sheet. If you can't wait until then (you are a lifesaver) you can direct message me and I'll give you more information.

Fair bit of warning, my writing style has changed. As I stated earlier, I've been practicing and constantly working to improve my craft as much as I can with the time I've found.

I want to express my deepest thanks to all of you who have been patient with me. Thank you to everyone who reads my work as well. I wouldn't be writing still if it wasn't for you lot. You're all amazing, and you keep me going. I look forward to many more wonderful years giving everyone stories to read. Money isn't the motivation that drives me, it's all of you. I just have to make ends meet, and the increasing cost of living isn't helping me out any. Your support saves me. Whether that support comes in the form of buying commissions or just leaving funny comments--it does not matter to me. It all helps me out.

Tl;Dr Working freelance, WoE is not abandoned forever, broke writer is offering commissions and stories are on their way when I'm in a better financial spot.

It really has been quite the span of time. Adult life turned and dumped me off at a crossroads where I took the wrong turn. I made every single bad choice, lost a lot of people in my life, took on massive debt from medical bills, watched my family leave my side, and so my love for writing died with nearly all of my passions I had.

Despite all of this, life found a way to mend the bad and there's a light on my horizon now. For all of the people who left me, I have a resilient group who remained through the good and the bad. Thick and thin--as tired as that saying may be--has shown me no matter how difficult the road gets, I will inevitably encounter good souls along the way. The best of them all, of course, is my partner.

She's been truly sweet to me, and her company is not without healing. That healing has ignited an old itch I didn't think would return after my mom passed away. I feel the need to write, and so I have been writing. The products have been small and cautious little tales--things to break the bearings free of rust and get the creativity rolling again. It's best to stretch before breaking out into a 100 meter dash, and I can feel that dash coming up, let me tell you what.

I made a promise that I wouldn't be starting any new series until I finished the current one. That is a promise I fully intend to keep.

Though all of my notes for Walking on Eggshells may have disappeared during my recent move (I finally got into a place of my own about a year ago, yay!) I do intend on continuing the series. It may take some time. I will deviate from my original drafted plan, I'm sure. The tone and styles are going to change as time has pushed me into a different mindset. All of this could impact the few of you who have been waiting for the series to press on, but know this; WoE part 4 is officially in the works.

No, there isn't a promised release date yet. Yes, I work 50-53 hour weeks at my job and that shall certainly impact writing times. There might be an editor to help me with grammar and the like.

All in all, I don't have much more beyond this to give to you all. I'd like to thank those of you who've been patient this far. You are the real MVPs, guys. I'm sorry it took this long to rediscover my passion, but the past few years have really done a number on me. I'm proud to say I came out a better person for it though.

Stay tuned, and stay safe.

  Howdy-howdy folks,

I hope you all had a great Halloween (a bit late, I know) and that all is well. Nothing beats the season where the leaves start dropping and the temperature spikes down close enough that the promise of snow is ever present. My sarcasm doesn't leave much room for me to get by when it comes to snow. Despite living in a pretty darn cold state, I do not enjoy the frost and ice much.

What I do like, however, is writing. In the spirit of the northern winds that keep on sweeping through, I'll keep this breezy.

I have a couple of rough drafts sitting here in front of me. Some of them are traditional horror pieces, another batch is better geared for a transformation-themed audience, and two of them deal with that ever-controversial male-to-female transformation media similar to what the main character in Walking on Eggshells experiences. There are a few other projects in the work at the moment as well; but for now, these are the drafts I'd like to discuss.

It's been so long since I've been able to post in a timely fashion that I've lost touch with what kind of tales you all like to see from me. Honestly, I'm better geared towards writing nonconventional stories that press the boundaries of comfortability, but that may be from my love for over-the-top horror and gore. I'm one of those individuals who praise Evil Dead, despite the writing and acting is subpar.

In short, what do you like to read?

Howdy,

Title says it all really. I’m in desperate need of an artist that is open for commissions. I need someone that can draw and color my newest character that I hope to use as my icon and face while online here.

He’s a femboy fennec, so I’d need an artist that is comfortable with those kinds of characters. I have a written reference, and a friend did color some lineart for me. So I have a good, easy way of conveying what I’m looking for. I was hoping for a spicy image for this commission.

If you think you are down to give it a shot, or know someone who may be, just go ahead and hit me up either here, or on Discord: Cadence Nouvel#9280.

Link to the written description (the background is rough, but the physical description is cleared) is here: docs.google.com/document/d/1C4…

Thank you!
